Perdiamoci di Vista!

During 1994, Asia also co-starred in Carlo Verdone’s 'Perdiamoci di Vista!' ('Let’s Not Keep In Touch') in which she portrayed Arianna, a physically disabled girl – an intricate, demanding role that won her lots of awards, including her first David di Donatello, the Italian Oscar.

"It was funny to work with Verdone and he is like me: he loves to be in harmony with everyone and that helps a lot. I used to go to a Reabilitation Center in Rome: a young woman who is in a wheelchair taught me about the 'technical' questions, especially about the movements and the difficulties. She changed my ideas about people in that condition. It's not true that everyone is afraid and sad. So I played a character who was strong, brave, vital and independent. A normal girl with multiple interests. I drew her dresses just like mine. And I worked a lot with the face and the hands to express myself".
