Loredasia

Loredana Berté and Asia Argento became friends after they participated to the Italian TV program 'Milano-Roma' on Rai. Their friendship also turned into an artistic collaboration in three videos directed and interpreted by Asia. All of them were shot in Milan and were shown at the Festival del Cinema Giovani in Turin.

"We met each other when we did ‘Milano-Roma’, and we realized that we had lots of things in common, even our birthday : September 20th. Since then, we became close friends ». But how was born the idea of making a video together ? « Loredana sent me her new works : tunes, demos. I was so excited that, when she suggested me to do the video, I agreed immediately. So we did three videos ('Notti Senza Luna', 'Mercedes Benz' and 'Io Ballo Da Sola'), all of them produced and financed by ourselves. The video isn’t a tribute to all that Loredana has done in the eighties, with her simultaneous transgression and originality. I think that she’s inimitable, because of the way she dances, she sings, she moves".

In 'Notte Senza Luna', the actress looks herself in a mirror in Loredana’s bathroom and sings some of the song’s lines.

'Mercedes Benz' was shot in Super 8 and it shows both Asia and Loredana driving around the city in a car.

Asia plays a young Loredana Berté in the Italian rock singer video 'Io Ballo da Solla'. Morgan, Bluvertigo’s lead singer, participates to this video too.
