Les Morsures de l'Aube

Asia once described her character as "a mystery until the end." Her Violaine is certainly enigmatic.

Antoine de Caunes said that Asia caught his attention in 'New Rose Hotel' and that, when he saw her, he knew he couldn't think of making 'Les Morsures de l'Aube' without her. "There aren't three actresses on Earth who could play Violaine", he said in 2001. "Asia has au naturel what the character has in the movie. She has at the same time a dark, dangerous side, and she's also sweet, delicate. This duality comes naturally for her."

Actor Guillaume Canet had already met Asia about three years before 'Les Morsures de l'Aube' during an European Film Awards ceremony in London. He only keeps good memories of his co-star. According to Canet, more young actresses should behave like Asia, because she was nice to everyone even after working all day long. He was also impressed with her ability of expressing a lot only with her eyes in one single take.
