Ginostra

Matt Benson (Harvey Keitel), an FBI investigator, is sent to an island in the Lipari archipelago, Italy, to investigate the death of a Mafia informant, Stefano Greco, who has been Frank and Joe Manzella’s cook for fifteen yers. The Manzella brothers are Cosa Nostra bosses.

Asia plays a nun who lives in Santa Ginostra, a convent where the nuns produce and sell wine and perfumes. But Asia’s character isn’t like any other nun. She was Frank Manzella’s mistress who was sent from Brooklyn, New York, to live in Santa Ginostra. Frank thought that his brother, Joe, could protect her. But he fell in love with the girl and asked Stefano Greco to poison Frank. Stefano refused and was murdered.

"In 'Ginostra' I play a small role, a nun, I accepted to do that only because the director Manuel Pradal chased me for 2 years and I wanted to work with Harvey Keitel. I had a lot of fun with him, but I don't even know what the story of the film is about, since I never even read the script".
